Clonakilty Toastmasters aims to encourage its members to improve their public speaking skills. Members come from all walks of life and so there is the opportunity to hear speeches on many varied topics. New members can team up with a mentor who will provide support during the early stages.
Toastmasters is worldwide!
Toastmasters originated in the USA and now has clubs spread out across the world. Speech competitions are held for those interested firstly in individual clubs, then in areas and divisions and finally in a worldwide speech contest!
